One last thing, you’re graph pic of all the fish showing with in 5 ft. Of the bottom tells me those weren’t whites, typically whites are scattered from the bottom to 15-20 off bottom. Seems like you were graphing bottom feeders which aren’t game fish, but this is JUST MY OPINION!

Definitely a possibility.

I catch a lot of gaspergous right there (by that bridge), but if you were dropping a spoon down and not getting bites, then that’s real odd.

Hey Minner, I think we might need to go out and make a YouTube video on how to catch these white bass. cheers I haven’t ever heard of anyone not catching them.

Whites will be scattered all over like this.

It was from last year, but all I ever catch from the dams is gaspergous, cats & whites. All the bass died, not a single one left in the lake. violin

I really like the look of that Hbird map above, I don’t have near the contours on my cards; but my cards are pretty old.

Appears that the Lmb bass fishing pattern is starting to change. The ones I caught yesterday were deeper than they have been all year.

Whites still running rampant on the main lake, go catch a few limits. Main lake, don’t waste your time up the river, guys on Facebook are crying that there’s no whites up there.

As noted above the water temp is 59.

On Friday the wind kicked our butts and we stayed close to Calliham, we tried a couple drifts and picked up 1 small blue. Then we went into a cove and started jigging slabs for whites, we found them and ended up with 18 whites we also caught several small LMB. Day 2 the lake was flat, we spent a lot of time just exploring areas that we hadn't been to in years. Then we went down towards the dam, did some power drifting and picked up 5 eater blues and a drum. On the way in we did some more jigging and I got a 4lbs LMB. Overall it was a good weekend.

Last time I was down at choke was last year late summer early fall. Fished over a graph that looked exactly like that and caught about 30 eater blues.

Hit Choke today, launched out of Calliahm at 9:00AM & fished the points and drop offs around Opossum Creek & Hog island. Lots of bait everywhere. Managed to catch ~ 12 LMB from 13-16 inches on crankbaits -- both divers and lipless. Also managed to pick up a few catfish on the crankbaits.

Weather was wet & miserable -- drizzle most of the day with 3 heavy rains. Temperature was OK and there was no wind. laugh

Water temp started out at 60 degrees and ended up at 62 degrees when I departed at 4:00 PM.

Overall -- saw a lot of fish, but getting them to bite with all the bait hanging around was tough. hammer

I fished it on an afternoon about 1 1/2 weeks ago. Caught 24 small bass, mostly 14-16 inches. I got 7 around the grass, but then saw a bunch on the bottom out in open water on the livescope. I hit spotlock and caught 17 jigging in that spot before I had to leave. Most of the time you never felt the strike.
I also got a 12 3/4 lb cat on a plastic worm.

Well stick a fork into Choke. Anyone listen to the Matt Reed interview on Bass Talk Live. wife

SAdoc, I saw your cat pic in the catfish section, that was a nice one! Years ago, I flipped into a tree and had the lake LMB record on briefly, ended up being a 13.5lb yellow cat.
