What brand was it? That might help.

Caught a 9.2 at Lake Fork when I was 12 on a Weird 82 Wacky Worm. I done alot of looking for old stock, and on Ebay. Couldn't find any of them.

Now we're going old school... Wierd 82 was made by Jawtec. I'd describe it as red/pink and blue laminate. I have one pack left.... The closest you will find out there today is Morning Dawn. A lot of company's Morning Dawn is close. Some closer than others.

I bet Dustin Aldous and pour that worm. He loves challenges. Give me a shout for his number when you get pictures.

We went to Toledo town and bought them out of the big grab bins.

I was the Jawtec rep for the ArkLaTex area from 1983-1988. Bruce Benedict, owner of Jawtec made a show on Lake Worth with Barry Stokes and caught a couple 4 pounders on a Weird 82 colored worm he had just introduced called the Wacky Worm. The worm above is a very close copy of Weird 82. The day after the show aired we sold out of Weird 82 Wacky Worms and didn't catch up for six months. Bruce was an innovator in the fishing industry, ahead of his time. He is no longer in the fishing industry.

Jawtech made it. It sort of a purple / brown / blue combo.

Morning dawn used to be called weird 82 huh, learn something every day. I remember Barry Stokes outdoor trails show, Aquilla got absolutely hammered after he filmed there
