Was thinking of taking my son fishing for these once, as I've never caught one and it would be a cool bucket list fish to cross off.

Anyone have experience with a good guide service in Oklahoma that you'd care to share?

Snagging Paddlefish is definitely a different “bucket list” item. Several guides on Grand Lake on the internet. Sorry no personal experience with this amazingly interesting fish.

You really don't need a guide Zeek, if you don't mind pulling a boat up here. If you don't want to bring a boat we can take mine and I can put you right in the middle of them, and catch a ton of sandbass when you get tired of slinging the big rod. Ratz will be heading this way in April, ask him about it.

Cajun Mark moved up to Grove OK, a few years ago. He tussles with those paddlefish, and everything else for that matter.. send me a PM and .let me know when you want to go, and I will see if I can hook y’all up. He is a good fisherman, for any species and is dialed into that area as well as anybody...plus, if you just want to pay a guide for the experience, I am sure he knows the right person for paddlefish. I need to get back up that way myself, as their spawn usually happens later than ours...think extending the spawn!
