We're giving Kay a few weeks to think about the name of the event and possibly the name of a foundation we are considering setting up in Billy's name. Kay Dyson will be the boss, so I'm just one of the workers.

Just to get a little feedback, I'm thinking a 50% cash payout, but with prizes, we should be able to get total payout near or over 100%. Keep in mind this event will be to raise money for a charity and also possibly to hep start a foundation. If you fish it, you are fishing a charity event, not a big tourney where shooting for a big payoff is the goal. Our goal is remembering Billy, raising some money and having a good time.

Thoughts?

Agreed. I also think it would be fitting if the tournament went out of Minnow Bucket. He took a lot of anglers money from under that pavilion.
