Saturday Leo and I went out to the river to get our fix. Launched about 11 the day was a little chilli but warmed up. The bite was slow but we still managed to catch enough for the table.

It turned out to be a pretty good day!
Sunday we went back to a different part of the river and had a friend of ours meet us there . The bite was about as slow as Sat. but picked up a little. We caught 4 ditch pickles and 11 crappie. The pickles were thrown back but our friend kept the crappie.

Not sure what happened to this guy but he looked worse than the other ones we caught.

Hi crapicat, thanks for the reply. The eggs were solid but not formed.
