Depends on the lake. 18mph from the North on Falcon can be insane, on a more protected river lake it can be nothing.
If I don't feel safe, I don't go.

Depends on if your boat can handle the wind/waves, depends on lake size, depends on how bad you want to fish, depends highly on safety. It definitely changes the way you plan to fish the lake. The little boat I fish out of can't handle the wind, so I have to plan my day around where I can dodge the wind, catch fish and keep me and my back seater safe.

Big baits lol When the wind picks up I go flipping or drag a 1oz football jig/c-rig somewhere.

I wouldn't go out fun fishing but I will be on the lake tomorrow for a tournament. It's not just the hassle of boating, but it also effects the baits I can throw which eliminates a lot of my go to finesse stuff.

My Bass Tracker will get swept away easily in 18 mph wind I sure did want to go though

I usually bank fish. For the most part wind is not much of a factor to me.

I fish out of a 14’ Jon boat most of the time, so 10 to 11 mph is usually my limit.

Beach fishing can be great with an 18 mph tail wind. Water is calm. Casting distance is unparalleled.

Not sustained, bc that means gusts of 25+. If I am out already, I won’t head in automatically, but it does make it harder to stay out.
