Or maybe they didn't see the return from their guys fishing MLF that they had hoped for? Or maybe the TV ratings weren't as good as we are all being told. Who knows. Have a hard time thinking Alton and some of those boys who have been die hard skeeter/yamaha just dumped them. I am guessing this was a business decision. Maybe they are focusing more on the guys in BASS.

I think they are focusing on the 5-fish guys.

Very, very few get a completely free boat. Memo/demo deals. Manufacturer still gets paid.

No one but KVD. Rumor has it that BPS/Nitro also does Kevin's laundry and Strike King provides him with a bag lunch.

He does have a pretty good gig. I was heading to the take off at the elite tournament in Little Rock a few years ago, I came up on Van Dam and he was going 55 with both right side trailer tires blown out. Riding on the rims and throwing fire and sparks everywhere. That was 4-5 miles from the take off, I stayed behind him thinking he was going to stop and need a hand but he kept it at 55 all the way there. When they backed him in it looked like a fog bank when those rims hit the water lol. At weigh in he had 4 new 20's and new tires. It pays to be the king.

Are they using last years boat? Skeeter probably not happy they got rid of the boat race away from and back to the ramp.

My personal opinion is that Skeeter was not getting the love from MLF considering the amount of money Skeeter was paying.
