Faircloth and Pace are still in a Skeeter. Robinson as well. Yamaha kept several BPT pros too.

Hum, if it’s true it’s probably because of all the T V time the guys were getting. Why else would a endemic sponsor leave the most famous anglers in the world?

Why give boats away when u sell them faster then u make them. Interesting..... Very, very few get a completely free boat. Memo/demo deals. Manufacturer still gets paid.

Is this because Skeeter isn't getting the exposure on MLF?
Or is it a Skeeter company issue?
I don't follow MLF as close as some do but is MLF making them use a certain boat brand?

In my 30 years of buying bass boats I have NEVER bought a bass boat because a pro used them. When I played professional golf I never bought a golf club or used a golf ball because another player used them. I chose what club and ball worked for my game same goes for the boats I have bought.

It could be that the guys dumped Skeeter also, for some behind the scenes issue. It does work both ways.

I watched MLF the other day and all the Pros were fishing out of a Nitro Z18. Why would they be fishing out of a 18 ft boat?

I watched MLF the other day and all the Pros were fishing out of a Nitro Z18. Why would they be fishing out of a 18 ft boat? MLF has always done that with a BassCat and Phoenix thrown in. Looks like they have eliminated all but Nitro this year. In the world championship the use Z-19.
