We were there on Thursday. Spinnerbaits and bladed jigs around docks and trees got us bit. We stayed on Texas side. Lake looked great. Water temps were 52-54 then. We stayed ay a house on the lake during the evenings but fished other lakes during the day. We saw schooling bass in front of the dock at the house each day.

Just take some a-rigs and cover water. Not much else producing besides what Mark was doing to catch some jackfish. Lol Flipping bite is nonexistent so far this winter. Lake is on the rise and I’m sure it’s muddy up some with the 95 mph winds reported on it. I opted to stay home today and not even bother with it

The solution to any problem - work, love, money, whatever - is to go fishing, and the worse the problem, the longer the trip should be. --John Gierach
