I played in 2 different bands with a member that had one. I wish I had more to share but I don't remember much about the vans. Now the people who rode in them and the stuff that went down is a different story.

I've always wanted one. Some of my Dad's friends had them in the 70s.

I knew a guy had one and was a daily driver till about 2000. When he stopped driving it nobody would give him much for it so he put it up on blocks and let Max his chow dog have it for a doghouse.

I’m about to have one. I drive minivans because I like to take out all the back seats and turn them into little one man micro campers. I just got a new one about a month ago and will begin the camper conversion soon. On this one my vision is to have it look like any normal minivan on the outside, but once you open it, it will look like a 70’s hippie van. I’m going to do a thick shag carpet, futon for a couch/bed and maybe a bean bag for another seat. I’m even looking for a small disco ball and a 12 volt lava lamp. I’m even thinking of doing tie dye curtains.

I'd love a shorty van for a boat puller.

had a 69 dodge short bed 3/4 ton with a 360/4bbl, did my own conversion on it. had the mandatory bed in back with a cutout divider, small cabinet with sink.
loved that van and did me some lovin in it too.
and yes it had shag, really deep red shag. van was maroon with black metallic band around it.
