2020 is the tenth anniversary of Constant Pursuit Outfitters. I can't believe we made it this far after looking back at how we started! So, as a thank you to everyone who has helped us along the way, I say let’s party. The biggest crappie caught on our tackle in 2020 wins $1,000 cash from us AND a free replica mount of your trophy from our friends at Fin and Bones Taxidermy.

Fish can be caught in a tournament setting, while guiding, while fishing for fun and any other legal method of fishing, as long as it is caught on our tackle.
I will be running a spreadsheet for all of the entries from now until the end of the year. All entered fish must be caught legally, all entered fish must be photographed with the jig you caught it on and the angler and fish must be photographed together with the fish on the scale.

ALL ENTRIES ARE SUBJECT TO POLYGRAPH.

I will give monthly updates to show what the leader board looks like. When I started this company in a 6x8 closet in 2010 to meet my needs as a guide, I never dreamed we would be here as a full scale tackle company ten years later. I honestly can’t believe it, and I know that I wouldn’t be here without all of the fishermen who have supported me along the way. I am blessed beyond what I deserve. Let’s have some fun y’all!!

So do I have to use your jig head too, or just the body? Basically, asking because I am partial to my jig heads.

I've seen the amount of short fish you catch so I don't think it does you any good to go overthinking this challenge anyway!!

Those 7 fish were a strategic approach to achieve the win last year..... lots of hard work all day culling boatloads of short fish went into winning the smallest stringer. Planning for a repeat again in April!

So true. Since we decided to go for the smallest crappie basket win, thus we couldn’t weigh those big fish we also caught. Sadly, I couldn’t weigh the second heaviest fish of the tourney (or her sister)...but then, we will let that be our secret!

Great! Hey, we look forward to seeing you next year...that is the only tourney I fish, and only because is just for fun, with good ETexas folks hosting the event! Lots of camaraderie in the evenings, as well! And yes, basically I was working Lane for adding a smallest legal fish category, sans taxidermist of course!

So cool!! Blazin Raisin has been the man the last few months! I'll let little man know. He's probably already spending his $$$.

By the way, I've had a few folks ask me about an entry fee. There is no fee at all, just send in the required pics with our baits and you're in the pot!

Does it have to be a certified scale?

Ideally a certified scale would be great but I don't know how I could enforce that for the out of state folks.
