I guess it depends on several variables if this is a viable tool to have. I think for the individual that really has no idea where to start, does not have or want to take the time to do the research and values fish catches then sure this could work. It's a neat concept and more power to them. I hope it works and people flock to it. One thing to note this is an infant idea so I imagine there are several variations to come that might be more compelling.

This will probably do just as good, if not better, than the pro's app. Too many variables. Save your money for a farmer's almanac, a palm reading, a dream catcher, or some scent killer.

Biden famously said in the New York Observer, “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”

Won’t get my money and honestly don’t see how any real fisherman would pay for it. To me that’s half the fun of bass fishing and the reason I like it so much trying to figure them fish out.

Seems like a lot of the pros have turned to being snake oil salesmen.

50/50. Salesmen/ fishermen. I remember when you had to know how to fish fo’ real. This whoring out the products stuff and injecting a brand name into EVERY FACET of the conversation is pathetic and makes me wanna puke.

You don’t need that app anyway. Just get yourself a Jimmy Houston spinner bait, Deep Smoothie, and some Pow Sticks. He absolutely kills them on every show with those three lures. Not sure of the brand of those but I laid the ground work for you.
In all seriousness that is quite a bit for that service. I will be curious to see how well or poorly it does.

The 'who' is interesting. Curious how many of them invested in the development and are promoting for mailbox money.

I thought I was the only one that was like...HELL NO! They need to lower the cost in order to make it more appealing. It's just another tool that may or may not be effective.

5,000 app users is a million a year. It doesn’t matter who doesn’t want the app. It only matters who does...

Very true. At the end of the day it is a business.

So if I fished against these 5000 users would that mean I'd place 5001st?

Someone let me know if it works and what they suggest. When I downloaded it and saw it was $20, it was a definite no. Not happening. I can barley justify to my wife why I need so many rod and reels, can’t imagine explaining to her why I’m spending $20 on a fishing app.
