That island outside of New Iberia that they make Tabasco at is like it’s own little country. Did some work there a few years ago running some new gas leak survey technology. It’s a pretty interesting place.

My wife’s grandfather lived at Avery Island for many years & we loved visiting and seeing mcelhinneys jungle gardens and the 900 yr old Buddha there, lotsa gators and birds too

Exactly. If they can grow them all over the world, whats the big deal about poking some mashed up peppers into some barrels and then filling up some little chinese bottles. I mean really, how difficult could that part actually be? Of course they try to make it look all complicated in the video. Two words. Job security. Shoot, i bet about anyone could make this stuff right in there own kitchen and probably taste just fine. Meh indeed.
