Let’s be honest, the highest paid pros are not coincidentally the best orators of products. Reese / KVD / Iaconelli / Swindle/ Wheeler, all have huge media platforms, but though some may not be at the top of the competition at any current time, they still convey an audience. These guys mentioned, and you could include a few others, are still outstanding anglers, but they are paid based upon the eyeballs they draw..... period.
Believe me, when the pressures on they chunk what works. They don’t wiggle away from using the equipment that they are sponsored by, but they will fudge what lure was used if they have to.
Live streaming has shown us that.

Does anyone actually buy anything because the " pros " use it? Absolutely not! Plus there is no off season in bass fishing. Heck this is the absolute best month of the year to fish IMO.
