I like that they are continuing to address the little fish aspect.
Good for them for realizing they had a problem, at least for lots of fans, and addressed it. It also brings some of the bigger fish hunters into play, that the previous format kind of neglected , being a numbers situation more than a quality fish situation.
Not a big fan of changing the names of the qualifying rounds. Just seems easy to be confused and not really a needed change. Elimination Round told you all you needed to know right there with the title.

Now if they can just get Ike to stop running to the back of the boat every giant 2 pounder. Some things never change .. But it would be nice if there was a penalty if you said giant and it did not weigh at least 5lbs And live wells are bad .. they need to quit putting them in Rangers !!!!

I don’t know if it was him but I saw some idiot on tv do a complete 360 around his boat chasing what might have been barely a three pounder once. Wish I had a dollar for every time he said giant.
