Hi everyone. Hope your Holidays were great! It's time to get another year of fishing and fun started! The first meeting of the Ray Hubbard Bass Club will be this Thursday night, January 9th at Bass Pro Shops in Garland. We'll get started at 7:00PM. It should be warm enough to meet out on the patio as per normal. Bring a coat or jacket. We will introduce the Club Officers for 2020. I thank them already for volunteering and the work we will do together. Secretary Shellye Crawford will be getting your info and Treasurer Cameron Laing will be taking your money. VP David Mulkey will keep the pushing and shoving to a minimum. Membership costs $30.00 for the year and one membership is good for your entire immediate family. If you are a returning member, and there is no change to your contact info, merely pay your membership fee, sign the Sign In Sheet, We will mark you Paid and you are on your way. If you are a new member, or a returning member whose info has changed, we will need you to fill out an information form. That way we can get you on the Club e-mail list and I can fill your mail box with more stuff than you want to know. Everyone needs to sign the Sign In Sheet as each meeting you attend is worth 10 AOY points. If you are unsure who any of these people are, ask someone who looks like they know what's going on and they will get you to the right people. Or you can ask the semi long haired fat guy with the microphone. He has no idea what's going on but can get you where you're going...

Topics will include rules changes that were voted in at the last meeting of 2019. We will go over the tournament schedule for 2020. We do not have a tournament in January, but we will decide on an end time for our Bob Sandlin tournament in February. Start time as dictated by our rules will be 6:50AM and we will vote on the ramp we will go out of.

We will go over the qualification procedures for AOY and the Club Championship. We will go over the community events we currently have and talk about possible new ones. We will go over our tournament procedures for our new members so they will be familiar with it for Bob Sandlin. This is a back to basics meeting and mostly a chance to see old friends after a few months off and maybe make some new ones. Returning members, do what RHBC members do and welcome newcomers with open arms. Have something to drink and something to eat and tip your server well!

See you all on Thursday!

It is not. If someone has an open seat or looking for an open seat they will help arrange if possible. You can fish solo also.

We are a team Club, but as stated you can fish solo. Early in the year like this, we try and get people who do not have a regular partner paired up for the year. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. It's our goal to make sure that everyone that wants to fish, gets to fish. Feel free to PM me with any other questions or for more info. Thanks!

I plan to be there if someone wants to buy me a beer I’ll tell you what the fish are biting.

No sir. Entry fees are paid at the ramp on the morning of the tournament. You have to check in for live well checks as well.

speaking of Bob Sandlin. There are bouys out there that say NO BOATS. specifically at the Monticello Dam area. They are WHITE and at the base they say NO BOATS. last year in both Sandlin tournaments, numerous boats were fishing behind them. I have clarified that is restricted water and you will be ticketed by the game warden if caught behind the white bouys. I have a strong feeling the GW will be watching it this year during the RHBC tournament.
