 Ultrex remote issue

Has anyone ever had the problem of the the remote saying motor not found? I’ve gone through the steps of syncing it and it says motor not found... I’m thinking operator error?

Probably not your fault. If a fireman can do it(me) surly a cop can!!! I actually have nothing constructive to add here, just couldn’t resist. Oh, and good luck. Someone will come along with the easy answer!

Do you have the trolling motor deployed when trying to pair the remote with it?

Try cycling the units...
If you power both off, then turn on the TM, let it get connected to GPS, then turn on remote, it should clear your pairing issue.

If I'm not mistaken you can clear out the remote and trolling motor bluetooth memory and then go thru the pairing process again. I know that worked on my talons when I had issues connecting remotes

My Ultrex remote does the same thing on occasion. It always gets itself going.
