It’s with great sadness that I post a topic that not only has me admitting I’m getting older but also the kind of [censored] I’ve always turned up my nose at on here for many years. Anyway I’m in reasonably good shape but recently I have begun having dull pain in both knees almost all the time. I have quit running for about two months but seems to have actually gotten worse. Is there a recommended joint supplement I should start taking? Is there anything else the wise OT suggests. Also don’t recommend thc or cbd, I get tested frequently.

Other than the obvious Motrin, ibuprofen, etc... Vitamin supplements work well like Vitamin D, Omega 3 fatty acids and Glucosamine. Acupuncture seems to help some people. My co-worker swear by adding turmeric to her foods. Go see a good massage therapist Avoid stress for a few days. It is proven that stress will trigger chemicals that affect the immune system that can cause inflammation.

But, gotta tell ya...even though you said you get tested, CBD is where it's at on this.

It's common with arthritis to see joint pain increase rather than decrease once you become less active. Plenty of good information about arthritis (which is what your pain sounds like to me) on the web. Google it and choose a site that isn't trying to sell you anything. Then read all you can.
This thread needs more cowbell ...

Getting as close as you can to your ideal body weight will work better than any supplement.
