Has anyone downloaded it ? For those that know about it do you think you will give it a try for a month or two? Thoughts at this point on whether you would be interested in it ?

For those not aware it is a new app this week where 9 stud pro's got together and put their recommendations in clear down to bait and color for different styles of lakes and weather conditions. Just curious what peoples thoughts are.

$20 a month for a smartphone app. Not no but heck no. I'll fish and figure something out myself. Or I wont and learn from it what to not do next time in those conditions. To each their own though.

Interesting concept. I've long kicked around a similar idea. App development is insanely expensive though. In my opinion there are only a handful of variables that really matter when determining which of a dozen or so basic lures/presentations are going to work best in 90% of situations.

Somebody at some point will bring everything together. I'd love to see an app that combined a concept like this with lake maps, your depth finder, and a fish log. The fish log needs to be super easy to use. Maybe a watch that lets you tap it's face to record a fish catch another tap to record the size of the fish and then that automatically pulls data from your depth finder for water temp and depth and gps location. All this links to your phone and current weather conditions for your area. So when you are done for the day, you know the GPS locations plotted on a lake map for each of your catches and their size. You also know all the exact weather conditions for each of your catches. With enough folks doing this for a few years, I believe we collect enough data to essentially "solve" bass fishing... Or so I like to dream anyway!

There are too many excellent free resources on YouTube for this kind of information to justify paying money for an app. You gotta study a bit and retain it, but it's all already out there for free.

Plus, "pro" recommendations are so often skewed by their sponsor obligations it's hard to trust their word fully.

I think it is a neat idea, and would be fun to play with. I think it would definitely help shorten the learning curve, but over time, I cannot see people wanting to pay $20 a month. I hear knocks on paid resources, and I do not nec. feel that way. But even the resources I pay for, I do not do it month after month, they tend to be one or two months on then three months off.

Thought this too.

It's also 9.99 to pick 1 angler, 19,99 for the anglers of the round table.

Interesting to see if it would work, but not going to pay for it.
