Oh baby, that was a catfish. You do need to get a scale. That may have been a lake record that would last for a long time. If it was 45" long, you could have gotten a Big Fish award and the first fish toward your Elite Angler Award lol. In any case, that was a fantastic fish. Congratulations.

That is awesome! How long do you generally fish in the yak? Have you turned over in the winter? I fish all day, usually 12 hours. No. I have not went swiming in that cold water yet? I hope not to.
