My question is my 2007 Skeeter/ Yamaha 225 HPDI That I just purchased came with an outboard cover but I’m not sure if it was designed to be on while the motor is running on the lake. I notice some that have vents but this one doesn’t. For now I will leave it off while running at the lake til I get some feedback. Thanks for any advice [Linked Image]

It covers the air intake. Take it off. I have the same type cover.

I have one of the Tuff Skinz ones on a VZ225 and it is vented so I leave it on all the time. It is a PITA to install, I hate to think I would have to do that every time I went out.

Luck will beat skill any time you have enough of it!
