Figured I'd share my "secret." I'm pretty new to Carp fishing and fishing in general, so I'm far from the most experienced fisherman. But I manage to catch throughout the year by using one little trick. Prebaiting! I can count on one hand the amount of times I've fished without prebaiting this year, and I've fished a ton. Putting in that little extra effort to drive to the lake and bait your chosen spot for a few days pays off big time, once you start prebaiting you'll never want to fish without doing so. Thanx TX. Never thought about pinto beans. These are my go to baits. Just soak them overnight in a strong mixture of your favorite kool aid flavor.
