OP Herbeck's Lonestar Fishing Outdoorsman Joined: Jan 2015 Posts: 197	Headed back down to Cedar Creek for some New Years festivities and found some time to do some fishing on New Years Eve from 3-5pm and on New Years Day from 8-11am. The hybrid fishing was the best it has been this winter on these 2 days. On Tuesday we hammered them and caught roughly 30-35 hybrids making long drifts at .3 mph and deadsticking with the Bobo Thumper. Some really nice hybrids were caught as well. Several in the 20 inch range and 2-3 in the 23-24 inch range. Yesterday morning the wind was bit more so we had to throw out a drift sock and we covered alot of ground and caught another 20-25 hybrids and a 10 lb cat! Fish were caught mostly on a white jig head with a Berkley live minnow plastic. Last edited by CCL Hybrids; 01/02/20 09:18 PM.
