You may have to travel a ways but they're still around.

Sadly that site is malfunctioning. Can't register. Saw some posts for my area from way back.

Just trying to catch em all.

Could start a small one and people will join it over time. I have looked and never been able to locate one, but it would be awesome. I fish around the Huntsville and Crockett areas mostly, if anyone in the area wants to start something.

What's it matter what people fish out of?

These types of tournaments have been around for many years. Footballs are used during football games, basketballs are used in basketball games, etc. Jon boat clubs exist for those who like to enjoy competition at a different pace and can't run 70 mph across a large lake. It's not that complicated.

I'd be interested. I fish out of Lowe 17ft...old school. I am located just north of Dallas.

I used to fish in a club called Longhorn Mini Boat Bass Club years ago. We had a maximum of 12' boats and 15hp engines. It was a lot of fun and we usually fished smaller lakes or lakes that laid east and west to cut down on the safety factor when wind was a issue. I would like to start up another series like that around the Dallas area.
