Ranting to me how his paycheck would be much bigger if he didn't have to pay for his own health insurance (he's all of 20). Tells me how much better it is in the UK. Told him socialism sucks, have a nice day. You can't fix stupid.

He is not wrong about his checks.
He should have a health care option.
You missed an opportunity to teach him about voting and liberal policies. If we had done a better job informing people a generation ago, we may not be where we are today.
