On the intake side there are some tree tops about 6 inches under water in what is normally open water. Also at the ramp keep your motor trimmed up or you might hit it....I did.

Would you mind posting a pic of where those are please?? I have been to the intake a couple times but don't know it very well. 6" under is a lost lower unit waiting to happen... :-(

In this general vicinity. If we don't get some substantial rain soon you won't have any trouble finding it.

Where is that. It really doesn’t show anything to designate where it is.

Thanks bushhog!

Frank looks like its directly in the middle of the creek arm after you round the island and head towards the intake. Def in the "let's run here looks wide open" area.

Here's the coordinates on the tree top at the intake side....N 32 deg 16.081'.....W 094 deg 33.690' . It's a big tree top so give it a wide berth.

Y'all are awesome!! I've ran in that arm without really thinking of trees like I do 1 cove over. Attached the pic showing those 3 coordinates.

I’m fishing here tomorrow for the first time. I’ll probably idle slot since I’m unsure where to run. Can someone point me in the direction of the hot water discharge to save me some time? Thanks

You aren’t idling to the discharge. It will take 2 hours.

Red circle is launch, blue circle is hot water discharge. It’s probably 1.5-2 miles at least. No short cuts. It will take quite a while to idle all the way there.

It should be noted that you have to go way past the blue circle before you can cut into the discharge arm. That is a wall beside the blue circle that doesn't have a pass. You have to get passed that large island to cut in.

Also, I have never caught any good fish in the discharge. Best fish come closer to the ramp or north of the 2658 bridge, but the underwater bridge is an issue getting north of the 2658 bridge right now.
