Any advice on general areas of Lake Belton to try (or to not waste my time on) this time of year? I normally fish the dam with some luck, same for the southern coves. Not asking for “spots” at all. But I don’t know if it’s a waste of time to go mid-lake to around Morgan’s Point Marina or Cedar Ridge (or further north). I have fished Cowherd Creek (?) before with no results. Like I said, not asking for spots, just trying to eliminate potentially unproductive water on this big lake.

If you prefer to PM, that’s fine too. Thanks.

Hell yeah, if I was closer I'd love to help you out! Make a post and ask for some new fishing partners! I'm sure someone in your area would love to help out a vet like yourself.

Thank you for your service!
