To keep it short: No. 1, found a point with dropoff to its left. No. 2, fished next to a rock pile on the point No. 3, used a special two-hook setup Hope these help you hook a big one as well  Direct link: https://youtu.be/0KsvAlPQDww

Great tips. Enjoyed the video and thanks for sharing. Hope they help you get bigger ones in 2020  I applied the same tricks at another lake recently and it also got a big one. I'll share the video once done editing

Thanks, nombon. The rod is very sensitive when dropoffs are nearby. The lack of a reel is a pain when encountering a big fish, so we always bring spinning/baitcasting gears as well. great video. and I love the rods.
