Such a warm and pretty day and finally had the boat back(crack in the hulll welded together) so hit the water! Added some pics showing some of the trees that are now exposed since the lake is 3.4' low. Red is bad, yellow is the "recommended" line. Could be some I missed along there so keep your eyes open!! Please trim up your motor if you go under the bridge on the hot water side the underwater road is about 2' under right now. At the discharge kinda scary for me as I've def ran up past/over some of those stumps before at full pool...

Water temps varied from 65-75. They had 1-3 stacks going today. Almost seemed like a drill I'd see 1 going then 2 then 1 that was running shut down and another 1 going Etc. I fished from the discharge back mostly marking exposed trees and shallow areas. Caught 1 catfish right at the discharge but no bass. Worked back to the ramp hitting all the bridges and any grass that I could find. Ended up in one grassy stretch catching 4 bass with 2 being keepers and 2 almost keeper sized. Chatterbait for two, swimjig for one, and 1 on a MT swimsation. They all came in 3' or less.

Thanks for the heads up, headed there tomorrow. That first pic is pretty close to a regular run I would make.

No problem! Hate for someone to lose a lower unit or worse. That last pic on my 2d post shows that long point sticking out as you leave the boat ramp cove. Wish they'd put a pole out on the hump past the railroad bridge marked "danger"!!

Yep. I was in the red ranger tin that came into the warm discharge as you left. Great talking to you. I caught a couple here or There. No size at all. Biggest was about 1.5. It’s just off right now. Looked like it was turning over at the car bridge. Brown carp floating everywhere.

I was STUNNED at the stumps out of The water as we discussed.

Fellas, once you get to the car bridge in the warm discharge cove, most point their boat to the discharge and hammer down. DO NOT DO THAT RIGHT NOW. Crazy how many stumps are down there for that run. And I was also surprised at the stumps about 50 yards out from the discharge. Good luck. So many widow makers out there right now.

Myself and AllenBassFisher were on Martin yesterday as well. We stayed in the big cove east of the power plant and never made it to the hot side. We probably caught 8 or 10 on flukes and swim baits, but all were small.

Cool deal! Yeah was nice talking to you as well! So many good people here on TFF that its nice to actually see em on the water! I kept stopping as I ran back towards the bridge and marking stuff. So idling is prob a good idea. So many tourneys coming up out there the next couple months any warnings about the stumps should help!

I B-lined it to the hot-water side as I didn't have a whole lot of time. I decided to go last minute.

I see people running down the middle of the lake all the time. There are some widow makers out there! If any of ya'll ever seen the lake in 1990's, you would be alot more careful!
