They started coming apart after no more than 5 minutes on the water. I wouldn't accept a pair of them for free.

Personally I like the seirus waterproof from academy. Usually in the ski section. If I know it's really cold I'll add surgical gloves underneath. The key is not getting your skin wet. With the seirus, you can still use your phone and have dexterity to retie, cast, etc. Not bulky. I do have some goretex that are more bulky and difficult to actually fish with. I only use them if it's windy and 30's or below

I have 2 pairs of the serius gloves so I usually trade out about lunch time and that works pretty good for a whole day of fishing with a bigger pair for driving or just warming up

If I need to keep my hands completely dry and warm I wear a thin pair of wool gloves and then I pull a pair of Industrial latex gloves I pick up from Auto Zone over them. I buy them in a pack of 100 and keep a few spares handy for when I do catch a hook and rip/tear them but they last pretty well and the combo works awesome. Plus the combo stays thin enough that I can function close to normal unlike a thick pair of gloves.

These with a polypro glove liner have worked for me and is an inexpensive option. Wool retains its insulating properties when wet so always a good thing when fishing. There are some high dollar solutions but short of battery pack heated gloves your hands are going to get cold. Keeping them from getting numb to the point of not being able to function is helpful.

I try my best to not fish in cold weather, I have some cheap wool looking gloves with the fingers cut out, i put a hand warmer either on the underside of my wrist or on top of my hands under the gloves, works great, having an extra pair or two of gloves helps as well.

Mainly use some wool gloves with the fingers cut out. Mine are Simms but brand probably doesn’t matter. Wool can get wet and still have its warming properties I’m told. Just have some big shells to put over them for running.

I have been using the Head running gloves that you can get at Costco for $12 or so. they have an index finger that works a touchscreen as well....pretty handy. That's what I'm using this year. Haven't tried them on the water yet but I think they're going to work out pretty good.
