Just took my first Tamiflu pill. Gonna lay down for a while, then chicken fry some backstrap, and fry some sweet potatoes for the wife and daughter, and fry some non-commie potatoes for me.
Tomorrow is smoked beef tenderloin, lump crabmeat stuffed mushrooms, and rolls.
This is all an impromptu Xmas eve/ Xmas menu since my daughter is patient zero and got all of us sick. I’m supposed to be fishing Amistad tomorrow afternoon, but will be postponing that and instead going to choke canyon Thursday morning (pending not being sick anymore)

We normally do turkey ,ham w/all the fixings or both if the entire family is coming .We did a similar diner for thanksgiving
and the preparation and serving took too long,so we are changing it up a bit this Christmas and going with an Italian theme,
regular lasagna w/meat sauce and lasagna w,sausage sauce ,we of course will have salad bread and leaving room for
my wife's awarding winning peach, apple,&pumpkin pies . food

Ribeye for the wife and a porterhouse for me. She just pulled a chocolate cake out of the oven and is now working on some spinach artichoke dip. Oh...and some pork tamales.

Five hours In time to stuff the bird. And turn up the heat. to finish in two more hours.
Remove the neck. Neck to be used for noddle soup.
Take bacon and put inside of bird,, stuff with your cooked dressing after adding 1/2 of the pint.

Save a quarter of the bottle.

"That is in case things went south and you find out your not the cook you thought you were."
