I need to take the clean out hose off of the motor where you hook up a water hose but it has a pinch down type hose clamp on it not a traditional screw on kind. How in the blue blazes do you get this thing off. Not a lot of room there to work with either.

Most likely a Oetiker clamp, which is a one-time use clamp. You cut them off with special cutters or just side cutters. You can put them back with a special clamp tool or use a side cutter or pliers. They come in size ranges and offer controlled 360 clamping force without overdoing the force. I buy mine on eBay but Amazon has them if you decided to go back with what the factory used.
