My days of having a 21 foot bass boat and all are over. I work to much. I've been looking into the pond boats. I'm still deciding on which one I like. With that being said. I want some input from those that have experienc or knowledge with Private waters fishing. Is it worth it. Good, bad and ugly. And like I said I'm wanting first hand info or knowledge. Not my 3rd cousins best man. Thanks.

Get a nice kayak instead of a pond boat, I have a Hobie PA 12. I have fished as a guest a couple of times and had a good time. The owner and his staff are good guys. If I was into bass fishing I would join.

I have firsthand experience with Private Water Fishing. There are over 70 small lakes in the portfolio. Most of them have a jonboat for your use. All you need is a troll motor, a battery and a small anchor. One of the newer properties is not far from you. It is a beautiful ranch with multiple lakes that are full of bass. Take a look at Santo La Roca Range. One of the lakes is only 5 years old, full of timber and bass to boot! Our last trip there yielded 75 bass per day up to 5.5 pounds!
I would highly recommend you join PWF. Good folks that will make sure you have a good day on the water.

Thanks KQT and Ken A. I've looked at Kayaks and I'm just not comfortable sitting in that with my back. I've looked at a few reay nice pond boats. Ken I appreciate the info. I've not found anything really negative about them. I'm going g to contact them shortly.

PWF is a pretty good deal from description of what you’re looking for. I’ve been a member for 5 years. I think they have a deal if you join by 12/31 you get some $ off the fee’s.

After fishing in Kayaks and canoes, I have really enjoyed my 14' jon boat. It is stable and allows me to fish with my wife comfortably. I have a trolling motor and 2 batteries so my range is about 7 miles. I would recommend getting a trailer. It makes loading and unloading so much easier.

Best deal going kev. I have several friends that have been members of PWF for many years. They love it and have caught some toads over the years. Steve and crew do an outstanding job.

I am not a member (just too many other boats and properties in my life right now), but I will second Steve and his operation is first-class.

Private Water Fishing is a top class organization. Was a member for two years, then life got in the way. Highly recommend them.

Can't speak for "Private Waters" specifically, but I can speak as having been a member of a number of private bass lakes and all of them were far superior to what you normally find out on your average public reservoir. Had i had it to do all over again, it would have been much cheaper to go that route than all the costs associated with boats and their maintenance. JMO.

I have also been interested in PFW for a while now so I am also interested with peoples experiences. My only draw back is that there are not to many properties where I am located.

I have also been interested in PFW for a while now so I am also interested with peoples experiences. My only draw back is that there are not to many properties where I am located. We have 4 lakes within 60 miles of Round Rock and 13 lakes within 120 miles. Always adding more.

I really appreciate all of the info. With my work schedule Private Waters is the best for me. I will be getting in touch with them. Thanks again. I've got a PWF trip coming up next month to San Saba and I'm pumped! We have a group of guys that get together a few times a year and it's so cool booking the whole ranch for just you. Every couple of years you have one of those banner trips where you hit it just right. I can't say enough good things about my many years as a member.
