I got the privilege of meeting and fishing with a hero of mine, Michael Littlejohn, of Tawakoni Guide Service last week for a trophy blue catfish trip. I say privilege because it truly was! He is one of the best guys and guides around! He taught me so much to help make me a better angler for catfish and hybrids. He also had such an awesome attitude and character. Really amazing dude!

We caught several white bass/stripers/hybrids while drifting via deadsticking waiting on a big cat to bite along with picking off a few smaller box fish. Towards the end of the trip and maybe 200 yards left to drift, we finally hooked into the fish we had been waiting for......check it out!

I have been on several trips with Michael and his guys. First class operation for sure. The only guide of his I haven’t fished with yet is Mike Thompson. I’m gonna solve that dilemma soon.

Me and my uncle went out with them on the Saturday the 14th. We fished with my good friend guide Noel. Landed a 51.3, 50, & a 38 along with some smaller ones. Great people and the best guides on the lake!
