Took a phone call right away.....let me add some to answer questions.
1. No we do not shoot deer. We're not deer hunters...on our property they get a pass. We only shoot hogs.
2. Yes our blinds are about 25 yards away from feeders. I see/feel no thrill in shooting an animal 100+ yards away. You will never forget the feeling of first hearing the hogs and not being able to see them....then you can smell them and then BAM the motion lights are activated and you watch them for a moment before you pick which one you want. That's hunting!
3. Camper sleeps 3 in comfort. No electric, no water. I do have GALLONS of water on site. We cook with propane and fresh cut wood. Campfire stories are a MUST! 4. Yes, you can drink all you want......BUT ALL WEAPONS MUST BE SECURED AND PUT AWAY.
5. Yes you will need a TX hunting license.

No disrespect here but lights and feeders for any game isn't "hunting" to me. Altho lights are used in coon hunting at night...I can see that as I used to do it in NC. with dogs. BTW: A person does not need a Texas Hunting License to hunt feral hogs on private property with the owners permission.

Neat post. Feral hogs cause a lot of damage to ranch land and can multiply a lot.

Appreciate you taking the time to respond for sure. We al have our own interpretation of hunting, fishing ect.
I personally think everyone should have a fishing/hunting license....may I quote. "100% of your hunting and fishing license fees go to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for on-the-ground conservation efforts that help make Texas one of the best places in the country to hunt and fish."
Small price to pay for a great time on and off the water.
Look me up if you ever in East TX.
