Sunflower Seed Coffee.....
The hulls can be used for coffee!! Brown the seed hulls and grind them.Use 1 tsp of hulls per 1 cup of water and steep for about 3 minutes.

Dr. Pepper is the only substitute for coffee! JMO. Hot DP with a slice of Orange is very good.

Dr. Pepper is the only substitute for coffee! JMO. Hot DP with a slice of Orange is very good. Thou shalt not temp a DP Junkie. I got off of them over 20 years ago, but dang that sounds good.

There is no substitute for coffee. I fine grind whole bean every morning, currently Tanzanian pea berry, load and pack that into the Rancilio, steam several ounces of whole milk, pull two shots of espresso and add foam from the milk to the two shots now in a medium sized coffee cup. It’s my morning routine. If I’m on the road traveling, I’ll try to find a good place for a cappuccino. Can’t find a cappuccino, then any place with fresh drip or percolated or French press coffee.
Dr. Pepper, that’s something maybe I might have with a burger or barbecue. Might have a tea or coke instead.
Sunflower seed hulls, never had them toasted and ground and made into a drink. Might be good to remember if coffee ever becomes unavailable.

A glass of water with a little bit of lemon juice, also you won't need coffee if you stop drinking it for a few months. Was relying on it myself, after a few months your energy level comes back to norm without drinking coffee in the morning

Mocha cappuccino has become my go to morning hot beverage. I do Hills Brothers sugar free.
