Amazon seems to have lots to choose from. Anyone have good luck with any particular one in the $40 -$60 price range. We're looking for something that can be monitored from inside the house without having to keep going outside to look at the smoker grill and meat temp. Would be nice if one unit could monitor both but especially want to get reliable meat temp display. Thanks for any suggestions.

That's the one I have. Works great.
I hate photobucket.

I've used a Maverick ET-73 for years and it's always been a good. They are on sale for $40.00 right now.

Thanks for the gift idea! I have a Maverick ET-734 (Big Green Egg version) and i would not recommend that one. Probes go bad way too quick for the high price tag.

The blue tooth enabled thermometers seem to be preferred over the wi-fi versions for ease of use.
