Hello all. First post here from Crosby TX. My kids asked me to take them fishing a couple of months ago, now I’m hooked. Pun intended. Have a few reels now, a 10’ Bass Raider with a trolling motor and a 18’ Tracker V18 all fish with a 115 on it now. We like bank fishin a lot too. I’ve been lucky to catch a few bass and crappie out of ponds in Summerwood area. I’d like to know of some more good catch and release ponds around East Houston. Or if anyone is interested in going fishing one day. Let me know. I got the boat. I like to fish the Sheldon reservoir but am always looking for new spots and definetley eager to learn a lot. We’re interested in learning lake Houston as well, we live in a neighborhood on the lake. Less than a mile from ramp. Hit me up!!!

I cant help you with any ponds in your area but if you already haven't learned Lake Houston, I can help you out as that is the only lake I fish. Look me up at Houston Catfish Supply. Give me a shout and I will be glad to give you some tips and help you and the kids get on some fish.
