Today was a successful day at Lake Bridgeport! We have been focusing on certain main lake structures using slabs and Final Cast Tackle flies. Using a short but quick snap of the rod is key to getting bites right now. Once we locate the fish, we have been moving around to stay on the school's. The pattern for the sand bass has continued to remain the same. The water temp was 50-52 today. If you would like to go on a guided fishing trip just shoot me a message. I have openings at lake Bridgeport, Squaw Creek, and Possum Kingdom for the holiday break. You can see all of our recent trips at fb.me/FCGuideService
And see the monster crappie are still feeding with the sandies on said humps. Seems as if the sand bass are fighting harder than usual on Bporte this year. Good ketch.
Thanks guys, I hope this report will help some of ya'll out. Gborg, those big crappie do still seem to be hanging around the same structure as the sand bass. I haven't tried to target only the crappie but have heard that they are really biting.
