Fork gets my vote and I totally believe there are fish swimming around in it that could go state record and possibly world record, but they are educated enough to not bite a lure.

Wheeler Branch has the potential. Excellent stocking program, plenty of deep cover, plenty of forage and now no boats allowed. Oh boy! That last pic doesn’t look so good.

Richland Chamber it doesn't have the pressure the other lakes have. It may be caught by a crappie fisherman! RC is better than its reputation is, those navarro county boys keep their mouths shut just like they do about the big bucks around there

I believe she'll come from West Texas. A lot of those lakes out there have good potential and not a lot of pressure like East Texas. The only thing is we need a 5 or 6 year boom cycle to do it. I know of a lake that has spit out quite a few 10s this year and it's only been a 2 year boom cycle so far. The previous record for that lake was 10.81 caught in 2008 I believe and there has been 4 bigger than that caught this year.

Probably tiny Meridian Lake inside Meridian State Park where all the SAL’s are released.

That’s TPWD doing a survey. FYI that pic was 6 years ago. Awesome water quality there too. Might see someone in a yak get a sharelunker there in a couple of months. There’s submerged standing timber 18’ deep in that lake. I’ve latched on to a couple years ago that had me beat pretty quick. Fun lake to fish, probably the easiest numbers lake I’ve ever been on. Too bad for the fishermen big boats aren’t allowed anymore but that’s good for the fish.
