Anybody familiar with these? Great sale but I hate to buy without having it in my hands.

Guess nobody uses these. May be why they are on sale.

I use a lews that is IM8 the green handle ones, but I didnt want to reply and have your thread get all cluttered up. Since I dont know about the one your asking about specifically.

Ive only got 3 brands of rods G loomis NRX, Fx Extreme and Lews Mach 1.

The mach are IM8 material. They are 99.99 now for the mach 2. The guides are alum so they dont work well for braid. The rod is plenty sensitive to me, I use it primarily for swimbaits, the mach 1s went on sale for 55 each, for 55 each I bought 13-14 of the two weights and lengths I use.

They are a really light rod, well balanced, Ive worn one out meaning its caught so many fish that the glue or whatever around the rod to hold the eyes on is all cracked and a few eyes are loose.

I use the 7 3 heavy for dragging swim baits, some flipping and the 7 2 mh for spinnerbaits, chatterbaits buzz baits etc.

Thx Jeff. The link is for the Mach 2. You said Mach 1's went on sale but I think you meant Mach 2. Here is the Mach 1. Its IM6. https://www.landbigfish.com/holiday-season-specials/2019/

Ok My bad, I have NEVER read anything on the Mach 1 so I had no idea they actually were Im6.

The ones I bought on sale were ALL Mach 1. I am using those. The exact ones in your link..

I guess you could say I would recommend them as I use them and am not on any sort of a budget. I have about 20 NRX in my stash also.

$40 each is incredible on those. Im tempted to buy more. But I have to draw the line some place.

MH72JR - 2 Pack med heavy

MH73SJR - 2 Pack heavy

These are the two Im using. I honestly think the moderate ones would probably be great for crank baits etc. I use fx extreme for that right now but at $40 ea Im tempted to buy some of those also. My fx are warrantied for life but cost me $60 ea to replace under warranty. I could just throw the lews away.

The lews do snap if you high stick for sure. I broke one reeling in a garbage bag and I broke one on a really bad hook set, way over my head (hi stick) and it snapped.

I am definitely not on a budget but I am cheap. LOL. Based on your comments, they sound like a great deal. I think I will buy a couple.
