Yesterday, My Son-in Law Danny caught this nice Rainbow on the Guadalupe River. He only fished for around 15 minutes (until my grandson fell in) but got 3 total. He was fly fishing and used a Pats Rubber Legs for bait.
I fished for about a hour this morning at Fischer Park in New Braunfels for Rainbows and got skunked. On the bright side I did spy 2 OUTLAWS fishing there as well. I am pretty sure they "tore em up" after I left to run errands. You might recognize them from the "spy photos" I took.

It sure was a pleasurable experience meeting the famous Vogey, in person rather than on his great videos. Well Steve, you didn't miss much by leaving when you did, except for Chuck catching several. He puts on quite a show especially because the trout he caught were bigger than most of those we caught in the past. Sure wish they would have more than one stocking at that community water hole. Beautiful park.

One super nice fish! What part of the river was he fishing? I was below the Trail Race this past Friday.

Curtis...don't know exactly, but he was quite a ways down river from the tail race...

I usually always fish the Trail Race Area. I have a pretty good spot there. Fixing to head to the crappie hole. Tight Lines!
