My "tackle box" is actually a BOX. A plain old cardboard box. Spinnerbaits hanging on the sides and with the exception of a few crankbaits in Planos I keep everything else in ZipLoc bags. Jigs and plastics do fine that way. I've always been a minimalist when it comes to baits. Never carried a huge selection and have always been happy.

When it rains I just stick the box in a dry storage compartment.

I leave them in the original bags and store them in Plano or Plano style boxes.

I leave in original package and the use a cheap metal shower curtain ring to keep similar style baits ringed together. Spare packages I put on a ring and hand in boat stall for quick replenishing.

I do the same thing and leave them i the orignal packaging assuming it is resealable.

This. The shoebox size is just about perfect for most plastics. Very easy to see and flip through to the color and style you are looking for.

I keep all my soft plastic in two worm bags the BPS Xtreme worm bags. Worms and lizards in one. Creatures, flukes, paddle-tail, etc in the other. I live them in the regular bags they came in (unless I'm consolidating) and then put them in the plastic zip loc bags that are inside the worm bag/binder.

I keep all my soft plastics in the original bag and store them in the pockets of my soft tackle box.
I remember the days when soft plastic would melt the plastic trays in your tackle box.

I always leave them in the package and store them in those plastic shoe boxes with lids that you can get from WM for less than $1 each

Same here- Original bags and in the plastic shoe boxes has worked great for years. When space is an issue or traveling with a buddy, i will move the packages into gallon bags for easy access.

I leave mine in the original bags and store them in a Plano 3731. Which is just a single compartment deep box and they still stacks in my storage cabinets with the rest of my Plano boxes.

Iโ€™ve had best success with regular Plano or bass pro shops non sealed boxes. Now I also take mines out the boat when I had my boats as well but have been doing for years. Now I do change boxes every year when we have the spring classic sell just becaue the colors change the shape and dye the plastic but never have problems with baits unless I leave in the sun all day an then they melt. Iโ€™ll try to add some pics. An itโ€™s not for lack of spending money on high end boxes just the regulars seem to work well. [Linked Image]
