Jeff, how are you not in time out? Guess the mods are getting a kick out of the roasting of, YOU! Well I dont think Ive called any one any names, I am pretty certain I made a single post that was informative and since then I have responded to direct questions asked of me or responded to people who quoted me trying to rationalize how my first post was wrong so Ive repeatedly cleared it up for them giving them more supporting factual information and even giving what I thought were absolutely fool proof examples, only to find someone is still ready to jump in with both feet and post some incorrect information again. It is what it is, you cant help them all only the ones that want to learn. I wouldnt want to piss anyone off by ignoring their question!! That would be rude. I havent seen any posts where Im being roasted. I see a lot of lobbying for a ban and some posts meant to be put downs for me or put ups for the poster as he must feel inferior, most arent even witty put downs or funny. I mean lets be real when your down to correcting spelling, grammar or blaming it on being a yankee. Youve officially gotten to the very very bottom of the intelligence and or come back barrel and come up empty handed...

Thanks for the info, that makes a lot of sense. I just wonder if I could make some aluminum or phenolic material and get away with it. The thing with stiffening these mounts is you may cause cracking or damage elsewhere down the road.

The thing with stiffening these mounts is you may cause cracking or damage elsewhere down the road. Here are the mounts made by Bob's Machine Shop in Florida. I believe these are aluminum but they are good folks and would welcome your call for details. Not sure which motor you have but they make them for all motors but the new V8's.
