somewhere with decent temps, a nice cabin maybe with a jacuzzi without koodies, good food reasonably close, dogs allowed, and most of all clear water so I can sight fish.

Table Rock Lake, in the river. We used to do it every year around Memorial Day. Flip your bait up close to the buckbrush and watch the spots chase down the bait and fight over it. Cool stuff. You can catch up to 100 fish a day with average size prolly 15inchers. There are some giants in there but lots more spots from 13â€-16â€, and those boogers are fun to catch, too. Easy fishing.....beautiful area and very clear water. Good Luck!

Excellent restaurant with cabins for rent, above ultra clear Lake Norfork and the trout fishing on White River. Cook used to cater for PGA Tour and he knows food.

Greeson sucks. I’d go to bull shoals or something like that.

Seriously, leave Texas to go sight fishing in Oklahoma or Arkansas? That's bass-akwards.

It would almost have to be one of the Arkansas lakes to do any sight fishing, by mid may pretty much everything is high and stained here. Ouachita is beautiful also besides the ones mentioned.

Greer's Ferry lake in AR is a great place and close to other attractions like Mt. View and Blanchard Springs Caverns. Heber Springs would be the best place to stay for what you want.

I've caught sight fish in Murray, Magee Creek and tons on Texoma.

I think Table Rock would be cool. Don't know if you would be sight fishing still but I bet you would catch a pile of fish.

CCTX will probably get mad at me for mentioning this, and I don't know what the cabin situation is, but Arbuckle is beautiful, a lot closer, super easy to navigate, and clear enough to sight fish for a lot bigger fish than you're going to find in any of those Ozark mountain lakes.
