I was out riding around Sunday and went by Lone Star Lake (Ellison Creek Reservoir). The lake has to be at least 6 to 8 feet low and I rather doubt any of the ramps are usable. I may have missed something, but does anyone know the issue there?

On a positive note, it looks like Lake Gilmer is up a couple of feet since they finished the repairs to the spillway last month.

Maybe it has something to do with Welsh being low?

Thanks for the info RedEar12, I figured it would be something like that. Yo Frank, when the water comes up I'll take you out there and change your mind about that lake.

The concrete work on the back of the spillway will start soon and it's going to be at least a couple more months before that is complete.

I have always had a great time on that lake. Nothing over 5lbs but a lot of fish usually.
