Not looking for any secrets but was wondering where I might need to go for some crappie this time of year. I have seen the posts about the creeks, but I was curious to know if there were some to avoid or areas that are more productive this time of year. i have a bass boat so i can get into some creeks off the lake and I also have a kayak if I need to get into some creeks that do not have boat access. I am on the west side of Fort Worth so I'm looking for some place over in my area but I will definitely travel if needed so I can catch some for dinner. Thanks for any help you guys can provide!

Try lake Bridgport bridge off of Hwy 380. Fish about 14-16 deep on the pilons.

NO. but I know for certain at the top(North) of the circle, that thin winding blue line that flows into Wise County Park, is BIG Creek .You can catch em up in there RIGHT NOW just look for brush! At the bottom left(SW) of the circle, that thin blue line is known as Beans Creek. You can get em in there aswell just look for brush Right Now! coolio Or you can launch @Sportsman One Stop boat ramp,or Lakeside Marina & head SW and fish the Timber & if not successful there, head back and fish the 380 Bridge. They gotta be somewhere.

Bridgeport Is a deeper Lake. So there is not that much walking area. From what I have found.

Also on this Lake you will have more Docks in the creeks. I was catching them in 25 FOW about 12-14 feet deep. Under the docks.

Go through Decatur to 1810 exit to Chico. Follow all the way to 1745 turn left follow to 1744 to 1736 to 1738 go right it will take you to the boat ramp. but it is right in the middle of a bunch of docks. The Ramp is at the bottom of 1738

Yes. This more like a finger instead of a creek. In most places it is 70-100 yards wide. With docks on both sides. Most people put in at Wise County Park. Right on the South side of Chico. And then run up into the different creeks.
