Fishing’s limited for me unless Yates finds them.
Dirk does all the editing
Favorite lake is Chick
Largest bass 9lbs
Either or on the chili lol

I use to really enjoy the Oakley big bass tournaments on Lake Lewisville. Those were also the good old days.

And my early days here offering to pay the entry on the $15 Tuesday nighter at Hubbard for a back seat. Met a lot of great friends doing that and learned from Stan Browning what an Oh Sh*& handle was...

Fork prekill with timber, grass out to 20fow growing to the surface, no park home developments, and EBs BBQ. Ray Roberts with grass on the flats west of Wolfe Island all the way to lick creek and catching giant top water bass out of it in January/February. Monticello being open.

Interesting hearing of these “good ole days” you refer to. I think of my days in Ohio where we could grab butts and me too the ladies. I guess that’s how I ended up in this less than fine state.

I miss the wolfe island grass flat drifting. that's where I learned about bubblegum flukes.

I miss throwing a frog as far back into the pads and grass as you could get it

LOL, yes because I am a tackle junky. I have stuff that hasn't been made for many years now. I still have a package pig tail worms and quite a few Pig claws from Lake Fork Tackle.

I still have some Jawtec and Bruce worms. LOL

Back in the old days most of my fishing tackle came from Gibsons. Mans Jelly worms came in a 3 pack and your choices were purple white tail, black grape, strawberry, motor oil, motor oil marmalade (that one had an orange tip) that was before dip n dye existed, and solid black.
