We have all been hearing things, but wow - a 30 year relationship between Ranger Boats and FLW comes to an end. Bass Pro Shops reducing role too?

To skip past personal stuff and intros, jump to it - things start at 6:00 and goes through 15:45

As far as Ranger goes, the writing has been on the wall for a while, ever since FLW dropped all references to Forrest Wood (even though Mr. Wood is no longer affiliated with Ranger) and changed their name to Fishing League Worldwide. And now their title sponsor of the BFLs is Phoenix Boats.

It’s only going to get worse:

This was also alluded to in the linked podcast.

Do you have anything constructive to contribute to the discussion, or are you just posting something to distract from the truth of the topic?

Perhaps you can make yourself useful and go sign the petition to help support the anglers who are getting ripped off? Or are you one of those types that think it’s okay that a for profit businesses should be immune from having their shady activities exposed far and wide?

Pretending not to have an agenda, when clearly having an agenda. Most people on this site are pretty straight shooters. I think you'd get a lot more traction, if you would just tell us how you or someone close to you has been personally wronged here. It's very clear you are bouncing around several of the major fishing forums with different handles peddling the same general outrage. It's just weird man.

Big O

Here’s a bit of advice from someone who had to learn this himself years ago.

As much as everyone can appreciate your passion and crusade to save us all from from ourselves and capitalism, there’s a way to go about it on a forum board when you’re new. Perhaps you could have welcomed yourself to the group as others have done who’ve joined recently? Perhaps you also could have eased yourself into the conversation and done a better job making friends? Perhaps you could have not spammed the board right out of the gate with all of this drama?

This is a place where you can have a healthy discussion and you don’t have to agree with everyone by any means but you’re not going to find too many who are going to appreciate how you’ve handled this so far. Maybe step back, take a deep breath, offer some apologies and slow yourself down a bit.

You don’t have the post count credibility here just yet...

My two cents

Ranger not being the title sponsor is no surprise. It was being openly discussed at last years FLW event at Rayburn.

Don’t know what you mean about bouncing around “several of the major fishing forums” using different handles. Perhaps you can show something to substantiate that claim? I am sure I am not the only one that is sharing info about what increasingly appears to be a shady organization that’s ripping off anglers and damaging the bass fishing industry at the same time.
