Got to fish two of my three days off. Fished Wednesday and Friday. I fished with my good buddy Jeff on the Lady Bird Lake in Austin. Fished Wednesday from 11am till 3pm and only caught two bass. Fished deep and shallow water. The bass were caught in 6 feet of water on Black/Yellow Rooster Tails. On Friday myself and buddy Jeff fished a favorite trout spot and we limited out in about an hour. Fished from 10am till about noon. All the trout were caught on Gold Super Duper Lures and Yellow/Red Trout Jigs . Nice trout Curtis...How do you rig & fish the super duper for trout ? Under a float, just cast & reel, or other ? Also, do you need a special "freshwater stamp" for fish for the stocked trout ?

Nice fish. You guys fishing your same spot as past years? Yes! The flow is so much slower than last year. Fishing is super easy. Going to take the 3wt Fly Rod next trip !
